Submit your physical or digital posters to us, and we’ll help you advertise by putting them up in SLC spaces.
Am I allowed to hang up posters in the John Deutsch University Centre or Queen’s Centre?
If you are a club or group affiliated with the AMS, SGPS, ARC, or a Queen’s University department, you are allowed to submit posters to the SLC for approval in all the aforementioned locations.
What if I don’t fall under any of these categories? Can I still hang up posters?
The SLC offers a ‘Community Poster Board’ on the ground floor of the JDUC near the north entrance of the JDUC by the Khao and Tim Hortons restaurants. Signage on this board does not need approval.
Do I have to print off my own posters?
You must print off your own black & white posters, and can print your own colour posters if you want, but we are now offering the option to submit your poster digitally. See “how do I complete an online poster submission” below.
How do I get my posters approved?
If you have printed off your own posters, you can bring up to 8 posters into the SLC office for approval. If you would like us to approve them before they are printed, you can use our online submission form to get approval and then have your posters printed for you – you will be invoiced for the cost of printing.
How do I complete an online poster submission?
Come to the SLC office and fill out a poster intake form!
- Number of posters: We accept up to 8 physical posters to be stamped for up to one week or digital signage on our TVs in the JDUC and Queen’s Centre for one week.
- Hanging Posters: We will hang the posters in designated locations in the JDUC, Queen’s Centre, and Mackintosh-Corry Hall if you request it. If you wish to hang your own posters, you can pick them up one business day after submitting your request.
- Poster specifications: There are three different options for colour printing. Please choose the option you wish to have. Take note of the cost per sheet (listed below). This will be multiplied by the number of posters you specified when tabulating the invoice.
- Email your poster as a .pdf file to the SLC Human Resources and Marketing Manager at email@example.com.
